Instructors
 

Diane Deskin Sensei holds the rank of Godan (5th degree black belt), Shidoin (Instructor Certificate), from the USAF Western Region under T. K. Chiba, Shihan.  Deskin Sensei began Aikido training in Santa Fe, NM under the teaching of Rihab Yaqub Sensei. She started training with K. Chiba Shihan in 1995 at San Diego Aikikai. As a personal student of Chiba Sensei, Deskin Sensei trained intensely in Aikido, Aiki-weapons and Iaido. She graduated from the San Diego Aikikai Kenshusei program in 2001 as a professional Aikido instructor, with a thorough understanding of Aiki–weapons and as an instructor in Iaido.

Jim presently holds the rank of Godan (5th degree black belt) and Shidoin (Certified Instructor). He is affiliated with the USAF Western Region under K. Chiba Shihan.

Murphy Davis has over twenty years of training in Aikido and is affiliated with the US Aikido Federation, Western Region.  Murphy, a third degree black belt (Sandan) is the instructor for the Children's Aikido Classes.  She has been teaching Aikido to children since 1991.
